Devin coughs up a lot of seawater, that is a bit red. "No smack." Devin reaches for a weapon, but only finds his dagger. Then he reaches for a pokeball, but finds none. "Oh. . .no." Devin falls unconscious.

A rioulu looks out on the beach as several survivors of a wreck- he had felt it- wash up. He sees one fall unconscious, and about to fall over, but quickly dashes under the man's chest, keeping him up with the ball of his palms.

Devin blinks awake at an impact. He doesn't see anybody, but there was something under him. . . "HOLY SMACK!"Devin falls backwards, so he's sitting. *Been a while since I saw a wild pokemon.*
